The village has a train station with trains to Belfast every 30 mins. Belfast is 20 mins by train and road, with its many attractions - the Titanic museum, Ulster Museum and lively bar and restaurant scene. The north coast with the Giant’s Causeway, Game of Thrones locations and tours and Carrick a Rede rope bridge is an hour’s drive from the house.

Belfast and Bangor are easily accessed by train. Dublin by train is also easily accessible from the village - train to Belfast then change for 2hr Enterprise train to Dublin, runs once an hour
