Close to the sea and a Gateway to the Lake District.

My daughter and I live in an extended 3 bed semi-detached property in Bare, a village to the east of Morecambe and 1 minute from the promenade overlooking Morecambe Bay. The property is generous in size with off road parking for 4 cars and a large westerly facing rear garden that also has a Summer House. There is a King Size Bed a Double Bed and the third bedroom is currently used as an Office / Study, but i can set it up with two single camp beds and move the desks in to the garage for the duration of any stay. Both Reception Rooms down stairs have large screen tv`s, as well as one in the Double Bed Room and the Summer House. All have Sky Multi Room, including Movies and Sport. There is a downstairs toilet and sink and a shower and toilet upstairs too. The kitchen has all mod cons you would expect and every book Jamie Oliver has published to go with it, if you need some inspiration! As i`m new to this (17/5/26) i`m sure i`ve missed many things off, but please feel free to ask any question you may have...

About the location

Bare is an extension of Morecambe offering traditional shops along a lovely Crescent which is also home to 2 pubs with Beer Gardens and 2 Microbrewery`s too. There is a local Londis shop just around the corner and we have a Sainsburys and Aldi a 3 minute drive away.

I will never be able to do the views of the Bay justice, but the backdrop of the Lake District across the Bay is one to be witnessed, especially at sunset...

There is a Railway Station 2 minutes from the house, which takes you to Lancaster in 10 minutes, from there you can be in Manchester in an hour, Edinburgh / Glasgow in just over two hours or London in 2.5 hours.

We are also just 10 minutes from the M6, so you can be in the Lake District in 35 minutes going west or the Yorkshire Dales National Park in 25 minutes going east!

If Bus is your preferred mode of transport then the local service takes you direct to Bowness, Windermere, Ambleside and Keswick.
