Our home in South London

Hello! We’re a family of five living in a lovely four-bedroom townhouse in Anerley, right next to Crystal Palace. Our home sits on a quiet, private road overlooking a lovely little park, offering a peaceful and light-filled base while still being brilliantly connected to central London.

The house is spacious and comfortable, with high ceilings and large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. There’s a relaxed living area for unwinding after a day out, and a well-equipped kitchen that’s great for cooking and spending time together.

We have four bedrooms (one child, one double, one king and one super-king bed) and two bathrooms, plus toilet/utility, giving plenty of space whether you’re travelling as a couple, or as a family. The garden is south-facing and gets sun throughout the day, perfect for reading, enjoying a meal outside, or simply relaxing. There’s also a pretty balcony with open views across the park.

While our home works very well for families, it’s equally suited to couples looking for a comfortable, calm space to enjoy London.

About the location

We feel very lucky to live where we do. A pretty little park is right on our doorstep, and Crystal Palace Park is just a short walk away too, ideal for walks, green space, and a bit of nature in the city. The nearby Crystal Palace “Triangle” has a great selection of independent cafés, restaurants, pubs, and shops, giving the area a vibrant but relaxed, neighbourhood feel. All within walking distance or a quick bus ride.

Despite being so green and peaceful, it’s very easy to get into central London. From Anerley railway station, you can access the London Overground, with straightforward connections into the city. There are also several nearby stations, making it a convenient base for exploring London and beyond.
