‘Y Caban Glas’ (the Blue Cabin) is a cosy romantic space with superb views over the surrounding countryside. You can enjoy peace and quiet on our rural smallholding but are only minutes away from Brynhoffnant with its great pub and very well stocked shop with instore bakery. Pet friendly, Y Caban Glas is detached, with private parking, shared access to an EV charger (additional costs apply) and has free wifi.
The entrance door leads into the nicely equipped, quality fitted kitchen with views over the gardens and the well visited bird feeders. Another door leads into the beautiful spacious lounge/diner with patio windows which offer magnificent views out over the front lawn, the woodlands and the countryside beyond. The lounge benefits from a charming French “Perfector” wood burning stove, reclaimed wood flooring and a vaulted ceiling. A door from the lounge leads into the peaceful double bedroom again with views over the gardens and beyond.
Y Caban Glas has a smart shower room and WC. An enclosed decking area to the front provides space to enjoy some outside dinning. The deck steps down and opens out onto an attractive large lawned area for guests sole use, surrounded by mature trees and interesting shrub borders. From the deck the views continue over the surrounding countryside and there is wildlife galore in the hedgerows and gardens.

Brynhoffnant is a couple of minutes away with its excellent pub and an exceptionally well stocked shop with an store bakery etc. A few minutes further takes you to the National Trust beach at Penbryn with its lovely café or visit the beaches at Llangrannog or Tresaith with their various pubs and cafes. The walking in this area of Cereigion is varied and plentiful, ranging from woodland strolls, coastal walks or challenging excursions in the Cambrian Mountains or the Preseli Hills. Y Caban Glas is stocked with walking books and OS maps to help you explore this lovely area of Wales.
About the location
You will be ideally placed for exploring Ceredigion, with Cardigan Bay, the Ceredigion Coastal Path and the beautiful National Trust beach at Penbryn just a couple of miles away. The beaches at Llangrannog and Tresaith are also close by with their pubs and cafes, and the harbour towns of New Quay and Aberaeron are within easy reach.
Inland you can head to the Cambrian Mountains or the Preseli Hills, explore the mountain biking / walking trails in the vast Brechfa Forest or visit charming towns such as Newcastle Emlyn or Cenarth.
Enjoy the lovely countryside views and explore local walks. Within easy reach of a riding stable, golf course and lots of interesting places to visit, there is plenty to do. Ffynnon Fendigaid is also a perfect spot for nature lovers with badgers, bats, foxes and birds galore on site including our resident red kites and a coastline perfect for seal and dolphin spotting.
Being close to Pembrokeshire (with its dramatic coastline and superb beaches) and Camarthenshire (known as the ‘Garden of Wales’) the whole of West Wales is easily accessible from Ffynnon Fendigaid.
