Mount Pleasant Farm

Our old farmhouse is situated down a 400 metre track surrounded by National Trust and RSPB land. The track continues as a footpath which leads onto N.T. land.
It has a large well fenced garden and a patio area. A gas BBQ is provided Plenty of parking outside.
We have owned it for about 25 years and recently renovated it and put it on a local holiday let agency as the council tax has risen so steeply.

About the location

This area of Suffolk is known for it's big skies and also dark skies as there is very little light pollution. The stars on a clear night are amazing! There are some great walks in the area and plenty of maps and information leaflets. It is near the dog friendly and stony beach of Dunwich but there is a sandy beach at Walberswick, Just up the coast. The area is quiet with just two other holiday properties nearby.
Tesco and Waitrose do deliver but we prefer to shop locally especially at Emmerdale farm shop which has an amazing selection of meat.
Southwold is north of us and Aldeburgh is south. Sutton Hoo is just off the A12 coming from Woodbridge and there is a castle at Orford and Framlingham. There are sea and river trips out from Southwold.
