We are a family of four living in a semi-detached home on a very quiet cul-de-sac in Bedminster BS3 very a 15 min walk from Bristol harbour and a 5 min walk to the bustling North Street Southville area.

Our home overlooks the quaint Malago River meaning it is not looked onto by other properties and we have very friendly neighbours.

The house has a large family living space downstairs comprising a kitchen, dining table and large sofa with TV. There is a small utility space for washing laundry and a WC.

Upstairs on the first floor is the master bedroom with ensuite, and a large multipurpose room which is at once a living room with home cinema, office and comfortable spare bedroom. The L-Shape sofa converts into a nice firm king sized bed and there is plenty of bedding stored within it.

On the top floor there is a family bathroom and two further bedrooms with a single bed in each, but space for a further bed on the floor in one of the rooms.

In the rear garden there is a sunken trampoline, hot tub and wooden fort for children to play in.

About the location

Our home is in Bedminster/Windmill Hill, a friendly neighbourhood in South Bristol just a short walk from the city centre. The area is known for its Victorian terraces, leafy streets and strong sense of community. You’ll find plenty of independent cafés, pubs and shops along nearby North Street, while Victoria Park and Windmill Hill City Farm offer green space, play areas and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

There’s a lively mix of old and new here — Bedminster has industrial roots, while Windmill Hill has become popular with artists, young families and professionals. It’s a diverse, characterful part of the city that feels vibrant but still down-to-earth.

Getting around is easy: Bedminster train station and good bus links make the city centre and beyond very accessible, while walking and cycling routes connect you to Bristol’s harbourside and cultural quarter.
