Set in the heart of Salisbury, this home is a beautiful base for Salisbury, Stonehenge, the New Forest and there is a regular 90 minute train service to London. The house is a cosy, beautifully restored 17th Century timber-framed cottage with lots of original features.You need to watch your head! There are two bedrooms and two living rooms, a bathroom and kitchen.

About the location

Salisbury is a beautiful mediaeval city dominated by its wonderful 12thC cathedral set in The Close, a mere 7 minute stroll from the house. Nearby you will find Stonehenge, Wardour Castle, Wilton House and numerous other National Trust properties. We are less than an hour's drive from the coast at Bournemouth and Southampton. London is easily accessible by a regular x 2/hour train service with the journey taking 80 minutes. There are beautiful walks from Salisbury and an abundance of pubs both in the city and local countryside. We have a twice weekly market featuring local fare.
