Detached rural period house with lovely views located in the small hamlet of Swinton in Lower Wensleydale just outside the market town of Masham.
The house is in an elevated position and is spacious and light with views towards Masham and beyond. It has two lounge areas and a large well equipped kitchen/dining room, a downstairs toilet and a conservatory. It is located in Lower Wensleydale and well positioned to fully enjoy the Yorkshire Dales. Further afield for days out there are options to visit the main North Yorkshire towns of York, Ripon, Harrogate and the many lovely coastal towns such as Whitby and Scarborough (All about an hours drive away.)

Kitchen equipped with the usual mod cons including dishwasher, double oven etc There are solar panels and oil fired central heating as well as the log burners for heating. The boiler room is complete with a washing machine (no tumble dryer!)
There is parking for 2 cars in our small private lane adjacent to the house but there is no turning area so the ability to reverse your car is very important. There is a garage and outbuilding for storage of cycles etc.

The house is situated in the small hamlet of Swinton which is a large rural estate of over 20,000 acres and is adjacent to the estate parkland and gardens and Swinton Park Hotel.
The parkland and gardens are open to the public and day passes are available to purchase from the Estate Shop. The hotel encompasses a Country Club and Spa, a Cookery School and it also runs an extensive range of activities for visitors.
