Stylish family home , historic building, close to lakes and dales

Our home is in a rural setting but close to all amenities. It is spacious and ( we hope) stylish with a terraced garden with great views. It has lots of different socialising areas but also lots of space to get away from each other! It has been featured in a number of interiors magazines ( under the previous owner who curtated it a bit more carefully than us!)

About the location

Low Bentham is a typical North Yorkshire / Lancashire village with stone built houses and lots of walking. There is a handy bus stop and a local train station. Within an hour you are easily in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Morecambe Bay. The cities of Manchester, Leeds and Lancaster are all easily accessible by train. It is very peaceful here but there is a great park within a 5 minute walk with a playground and basketball court for children. Across the road you are on a footpath to an idyllic river.
