It is a farmhouse in the Chilterns. The house was built 5 years ago to look traditional in the landscape. It is in a rural area one hour north of London. The ground floor consists of a large modern kitchen/dining room, living room, study, utility room and downstairs bathroom. The first floor consists of a large double bedroom, a small double bedroom, a children's bedroom with 2 built in beds and a large family bathroom. There are patios both back and front of the house with ample garden furniture. The house is in an elevated position and has good views down the Chess Valley.

About the location

The house is surrounded by a network of Public Footpaths, which give access to the surrounding rural area. We are 1 km from the village of Sarratt, which has a community run shop/postoffice with a village green and two public houses with their own restaurant facilities. Both the town of Rickmansworth and Chorleywood are a 15 minute drive away, both have supermarkets and rail network to London.
