Peaceful flat close to overground station, cafes, restaurants

Our home is a peaceful flat, located very close (5 minute walk) to one of the overground stations in Dalston. We’re right around the corner from lots of cafes, restaurants and bars, but set back from the main street to avoid the noise. It’s only two stops on the overground to the tube (Victoria line), so very easy to get into the city centre, and under half an hour door to door to get to Liverpool Street Station on the bus. We’re also a 15-20 minute walk to both Hackney Downs park and London Fields park.

The flat isn’t huge but it feels nice and spacious and is perfect for a couple. It gets a lot of natural light and the sun comes through in the evening (really nice sunset views). We have a bedroom, kitchen/living, bathroom and hallway. We also have a big TV that has Netflix on it, comfy bed, shower over bath, washing machine/dryer and full kitchen. The block has two lifts and heating is included so it’s cosy and warm in winter.

About the location

Dalston itself is a really nice neighbourhood - there’s Kingsland Road which is full of cafes, restaurants and bars, and then theres a few other more peaceful gems close by such as Dalston Eastern Curve Garden which has a cafe/bar set in a little oasis of trees and calm, and AllPress Espresso Cafe which has a beautiful outdoor seating area. And then we have the overground which connects to the tube, as well as buses, so it’s very easy to get into the city centre or to other places in London.
