Large comfortable home near Richmond Park, London

Our relaxed and comfortable 5 bedroom home is in a friendly, safe and vibrant area, close to central London (20 mins by train, Zone 3 of 9) and within easy walking distance of Richmond Park and the River Thames. One bedroom would be locked for the swap as it is our home office.

There`s a large eat-in kitchen with two sofas and a big dining table that can sit 14 when extended. All usual amenities, bean to cup coffee machine, very well equipped kitchen with 2 ovens. We have a large record collection and Sonos. A utility room has an additional fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer. A comfy, colourful sitting room with Sky TV incl sports, a 3 seater and 2 seater sofa and an armchair.

Double bedroom and a large den on the top floor which share a full bathroom (there is a very comfortable double sofa bed in den with a memory foam topper, we also have a proper single mattress under the bed in the spare room which can be used in any of the rooms)

We have a small pretty garden which is not overlooked, with corner sofa, table and chairs, hammock and charcoal bbq.

We are in easy walking distance to many restaurants, small independent shops/cafes, and to a large Waitrose, also a few minutes from Richmond with its great shopping, green and river walks. Richmond Park is just up the road, wonderful walking, running and cycling, 2500 acres of deer cropped grassland and woods with fantastic views and both fallow and red deer herds - amazing if you are a photographer.

We also have off street parking and an electric charging point for EVs, bicycles to explore the park/towpath with. We can arrange baby sitters and our cleaner can come during your stay if you wish. We have two cars, one of which could be included in the swap.

About the location

A 10 minute walk to Richmond Park, 5 mins to the river in the other direction. We are 3 mins walk to Waitrose and numerous other shops, restaurants and cafes. 5 mins walk to Mortlake station which will take you to Waterloo in 20 minutes. Kew Gardens is also nearby.

It`s a lovely area, very conveniently located with lots to do in the surrounding areas. You really don`t need a car!
