Apartment in Rome

Our home is a 100mq apartment in a very silent and family-friend area near di center of Rome. It is situated at walking distance from two subway stations (Marconi or San Paolo) which in very short trip of 4 stations will take to the Colosseo. The apartment has a wonderful view of two important sites of the EUR and the Tevere River with its trees.

The apartment is located in the second floor of a building which is part of a big condominio built in the 1970s. It has an elevator (a bit old but working well!) and two balconies. The apartment has been renovated 3 years ago and it`s cosy, modern and has a wonderful light, the sunsets from the living room are very beautiful.

The apartment has a day zone and a night zone we`ll separated. Entering the house you can find an open kitchen with a kitchen island and all appliances you might need (dishwasher included). The living room also has a comfortable double sofa bed and a big table with chairs. Next to the living room/kitchen and with a doble glass door (it can be left completely open to double the size of the living room) you find the study, with a big computer screen, a piano and a double sofa bed.

The night area of the house is isolated by another glass door near the entrance. It leads you to a bathroom with a big shower, the children`s bedroom with two beds, a bedroom with a double bed and another bathroom with shower. In the apartment there is a washing machine.

In one of the balconies live 3 little guineas pig who will need to be feed once or twice a day.

About the location

This area of the city is silent and calm, family friendly, with big sidewalks and parks nearby. It is also very well connected, only 20 minutes ride from the Fiumicino Airport, at walking distance of two subway stations (Marconi and San Paolo), from there only 4 stops to the Colosseo or you can take the metromar to arriva in 30 minutes to Ostia Antica and the sea. Three urban lines buses stop at the end of our street (bus 23 will take you directly to the city center).

At walking distance (15 minutes) you can visit the famous Basilica di San Paolo. Near this area you can also visit the Garbatella, a neighbourhood full of history. Discover the recently built Parco di Ponte Marconi, for children`s delight, take a boat that will take you for a ride on the river or go shopping in Viale Marconi. Just in front of the apartment, a swimming pool for a relaxing day and tennis courts.
