Château de Marnay - video tour on request

We live in a flat on the upper floor of a 13th-century castle that was extensively remodelled in the 17th century.

The open-plan accommodation extends across two large reception rooms. The first is a lounge which leads to two separate sleeping areas: one single and one double. The second reception is a day room with a kitchen and dining area.

Our flat is bright and spacious, and it retains some period features, such as a monumental fireplace and stone mullioned windows. The canal-side views of the rolling countryside are soothing for the senses. The courtyard has ample parking for residents. There is no noticeable traffic noise.
Our open-plan living space is decorated and furnished in a minimalist style.

About the location

Marnay is a large village in the `Haute-Soane` department in eastern France. The nearest major town is Besançon, a `Ville d`art et d`histoire`.
