Family home in the heart of rural North Devon

A three-bed semi on a small, quiet estate. The master bedroom is a double en-suite. The second bedroom has a toddler bed (suitable for children under 6) and the third has a high-sleeper single cabin bed. The house is best suited to one or two adults, or a family with young children. The kitchen/diner has two electric ovens and a gas stove. It is well-equipped. We have lots of books, a guitar, a TV and a few pretty fun board games; please help yourself! The house also has an assortment of children's toys, books and craft materials, all of which we are happy to share. The house is directly opposite a small children's play area. There is a sunny south-facing garden with a two-person bistro set for soaking up the Devon sun.

About the location

High Bickington is a typical Devon village with two pubs, a community woodland and a Community Shop and café. The locals are friendly (assuming you put the cream on first when you have a cream tea!) and the village is surrounded by quiet country lanes, perfect for exploring. It is located within easy driving distance of beautiful sandy beaches (such as Saunton Sands) and both Exmoor and Dartmoor. The local towns (Great Torrington, South Molton and Barnstaple) all boast excellent pannier markets every week. We are also a twenty minute drive from RHS Rosemoor.
