About the location

Situated on the cusp of the Peak District, it offers proximity to city amenities and transportation while being surrounded by picturesque countryside.

Marple has seen a surge in independent shops, cafes, and eateries, enriching residents' leisure options. From monthly markets to annual events like the Marple Carnival, the community thrives with a vibrant spirit. The Regent, a family-run cinema, adds to Marple's unique character.

(We can pass on the numbers of trusted babysitters if you are staying with kids and fancy a night out!)

Marple is a short drive to the Peak District and charming villages such as Hayfield, New Mills (Milenium Walkway, Torrs)

We are 15 minute drive/ £12 taxi from Stockport train station which has a high speed train to London Euston in just over two hours. Marple is also served by two train stations and both are ten minutes walk to our house. Manchester airport is about 25 minutes drive/ £29 taxi.
