Family home - quiet area - Brecon beacons national park

With views of the Beacons from the garden and the local area, this 3 bed semi detached house is a great place to explore South Wales.

We live here with our two children Ella (11) & Max (8) and have been in Wales for 8 years.

The house is a 1930's semi detached that has lots of old features but has been updated by us. There are 3 bedrooms which sleep 4 people comfortably but there is also a mattress which can go on the floor in the second bedroom so could sleep an extra person.

We have two cats - Moon & Sonny and would be grateful if you were able to feed them and give them strokes too. If you are wanting to travel then we can get neighbours to feed them.

We have a smart TV, wifi, gas central heating, electric oven and gas hob and a dishwasher.

There is a good sized private garden at the rear where you can see the Sugarloaf mountain.

We have a washer & dryer in the shed outside.

There is a bath and an overhead shower.

About the location

The street is very quiet and the neighbours are really friendly.

The historic market town of Abergavenny has lots of great shops and eateries and is home to Wales' largest food festival in September.

Lots of lovely local walks along rivers, the 30 mile Monmouthshire & Brecon canal or up one of the many famous peaks; Sugarloaf Mountain, Deri, Blorenge or Pen Y fan (45 mins drive). This is a really great location in a stunning part of Wales.

- Nearest beach approx 1 hour away (Southerndown). We love Dunraven Bay.

- Nearest city - Cardiff (50 mins car or 40 mins train). There is a train station in Abergavenny (25 mins walk) where you can get a direct train to the city.

Having lived in the country and in a city, we love this town as it has the best bits of both.
