Luing Cabin is nestled between Inverliever Forest and a clearing that leads down to the majestic Loch Awe. It's one of the many cabins dotted around the woods and loch side here by the friendly village of Dalavich.
The cabin provides accommodation for six across two double bedrooms and a bunk room.
The cabin is small, simple, cosy and comfortable with a south facing sun room which is perfect for dining, a wood burning stove in the living area to keep things cosy and an upstairs seating area with views down to Loch Awe.
This a second home that i normally let during the tourist season and is set up for guests

About the location

Luing Cabin is in rural Mid-Argyll and is part of a 1980s development of Scandinavian style log cabins around the banks of Loch Awe. The area is perfect for lovers of the outdoor life, and is a great place for fishing, kayaking, hiking, cycling and wild swimming.

The cabin is approximately 100m from the banks of Loch Awe and is surrounded by large fragments of temperate rainforest, full of trails to be explored on foot or bike. It's a great place for relaxing, outdoor pursuits and 'getting away from it all'

It is approximately 12 miles from Kilmartin Glen, an area of full of prehistoric standing stones ( and new museum) and is around a 50 minute drive from the Victorian Seaside town of Oban - a hopping off point for many west coast islands, some of which can be explored on a day trip. Dalavich is accessed via 14 miles of single track ( well maintained) road and is in an area easier explored by car.
