Our house is a 5 minute walk to Conwy Marina and a lovely 15 minute coastal,path/ marine walk to Conwy town. There are 2 living rooms, 4 bedrooms (2 en suite) and a family bathroom. There is also a pool room with full size table. The back of the house has great views of Conwy Mountain. The front view faces trees with glimpses of the marina and great Orme from the top floor. The house is a semi detached 3 storey Victorian conversion.

The garden is very large fully enclosed with a decked area next to the house and large lawn with play equipment including gym bars, swings, slides. There is a garage with ample storage.

There are plenty of beautiful beaches nearby and the nearest beach is 10/15 minute walk.

About the location

Conwy town is one of Britain’s best preserved medieval towns with cobbled streets and historic buildings including the smallest house in Great Britain and Plas Mawr, one of the finest surviving Elizabethan town houses in Britain. The star attraction of the town is Conwy Castle, built between 1283 and 1287 by King Edward 1st, and one of the 4 castles in Wales declared as a UNESCO’s World Heritage site. Conwy town walls surround the historic centre and are among the finest and most complete in a Europe, they run for three quarters of a mile, with 21 towers and three original gateways along their length. To the east of the castle is Conwy Suspension Bridge, a Grade 1-listed structure, 99.5 metres long and is one if the first road suspension bridges in the world. It was built by Thomas Telford in 1822-1826 and is now managed by the National Trust.

Conwy celebrates its past by hosting annual events such as the honey fair, seed fair, knight’s parade and musical events. The thriving town is renowned for its independent and unique mix of shops including an award winning butcher, wine bar & shop, artisan patisserie, cheese shop, independent book shop and chocolatier. Conwy town also boast award winning restaurants including Jackdaw, Signatures and Dylan’s. There are also 2 x Indian restaurants, tapas, seafood restaurant and wood-fired pizza restaurant as well 3 fish and chip shops, multiple cafes - all within the town walls. There are authentic and award winning pubs supplied by the 4 local breweries.

We are lucky enough to be surrounded by stunning scenery and we are a perfect base to explore the Snowdonia National Park (only 5 mins drive), Anglesey and the North Wales coast. There are so many beautiful beaches and picturesque lakes to explore. Conwy Morfa beach is a beautiful unspoiled long stretch of sand with stunning views of the Great Orme, Puffin Island, Conwy Mountain and Anglesey. The beach is dog friendly all year round. The Victorian seaside resort town of Llandudno is a 10 minute drive away with its 19th century pier, the Great Orme headland with its tram and cable cars, two great beaches, dry ski slope and snowboarding centre as well as many shops and restaurants.

North Wales is now becoming a leading destination for adrenaline junkies with thrill seeking activities such as zip lining (the fastest zip line in the world (!) underground trampolining, woodland sky rides, quarry karts and tree climbing nets. More traditional activities include; Sailing, river cruising; water sports, gorge walking, golf and tennis - all of which are on the doorstep. There are fantastic walks tracks and footpaths across Conwy Mountain and Sychnant Pass, with much of the pass in the Snowdonia National Park. We are a 30 minute drive to the foot of Mount Snowdon.
