A beach house overlooking the Exe Estuary.

Our newly renovated beach house overlooks the beautiful Exe Estuary, with open views up as far as Exeter. It has direct access to a small beach at low tide and at high tide steps from the terrace take you down to our jetty where you can use our paddleboards and kayak to enjoy the water.

The house has an open plan living area, kitchen and dining space, which includes a bed settee. The living room has lovely views of the estuary. There are two double bedrooms (one with en-suite), a single room with bunk beds and a family shower room.

There is wi-fi.

We are a recently retired Head Teacher and Company Director keen to make the most of our new found free time. We are new to home exchange and are excited to experience the opportunities it offers. We are open to all destinations and flexible with time.

About the location

Exmouth’s 2 mile sandy beach is a 5 minute walk away. Also within flat walking distance of less than 15 minutes are the marina, the town centre and the train station.
The trains stop at the pretty villages of Lympstone and Topsham (with its open air swimming pool) before getting to the Cathedral city Of Exeter and taking you onward to the resorts of the ‘English Riviera’.

Sporting opportunities in Exmouth are numerous. There is an indoor leisure centre with a good swimming pool. Excellent watersports facilities are available in the town. You can hire bicycles ride along the estuary cycle trail. Walking opportunities along the world famous Jurassic coastline abound.

For those who like eating out, restaurants and bars are plentiful and cater for all tastes and price ranges from Michael Caines’s Lympstone Manor, The River Exe Cafe, Mickey’s Beach Bar and Krispies fish and chips.
