Spacious house on quiet leafy street with amazing views of London

A bright and spacious detached family home located on one of the most desirable roads in Forest Hill, South East London, with panoramic views of the London skyline, including The City and Canary Wharf, the MIllenium Dome, the Shard and the London Eye.

Three bedrooms (one superking, one double and one single), plus a loft/games room with a fold out sofa bed that can sleep two.

Outside there is a pretty 60 foot garden with a lot of neighbouring trees that attract bird life. The garden has many plants and flowers, a trampoline, and a covered deck with comfy seating and a table for outside dining and relaxing, whatever the weather.

TVs in downstairs living room and upstairs loft (Netflix, Sky) + pool table/table tennis table. A large, eat-in kitchen with an American style family fridge/freezer. The living room is double-aspect with lots of light, comfy sofas and a dining table that seats 8 to 10 people.

Overall, a lovely spacious and quiet house in a friendly residential neighbourhood, lots to see and do locally and easy access to central London.

Please note that the house is on a hill, and access to the garden is down a number of steps.

We have one cat with a lovely temperament who is very easy to look after.

About the location

Forest Hill has possibly the best views of London. Because it is South London, the sun is behind and beside us, so the city is better highlighted than North London locations. Our road, as detailed above, is very quiet and secluded.

Our neighbours are incredibly nice and helpful.

Locally there is a great choice of green spaces and parks with the much admired Horniman Museum a short 5 minutes stroll away. If looking for extracurricular activities there's Forest Hill Pools and local gyms, and lots of local restaurants, pubs, independent shops, therapy and beauty rooms all within walking distance. The neighbourhoods of Peckham and East Dulwich are also within walking distance, similarly offering a choice of independent boutiques, restaurants, bars and cinemas.

Walking distance to bus stops into the city and walking distance to Honor Oak Park and Forest Hill train stations, which provide easy connections to central London stations and the London Underground (trains to Canada Water in less than 15 minutes, Shoreditch High Street in around 20 minutes, with Highbury and Islington about 35 minutes).
