The house has 2 bedrooms, one en-suite, office, family bathroom, laundry, two living areas with a recently renovated and well-equipped kitchen. There is a private courtyard/back garden, double garage and small front garden. The house is well set up for Winter and Summer with 3 heat pumps and a gas fire and a retractable awning for summer shade when required. The house is split level with a stairs from the hallway to the main living area.

Our house is a 5 minute walk to the cafes, supermarkets (x 2) and amenities of Alexandra. The famous Otago Central Rail Trail is 3 minutes cycle from our house.

Wi-fi and fibre are connected. The house has a slightly elevated position giving it excellent views of the surrounding hills and mountains.

About the location

The small town of Alexandra is located in the heart of Central Otago, South Island, close to wineries, mountain bike and walking trails, boating amenities on Lake Dunstan and 10 minutes by car from the historic gold mining town of Clyde with its galleries and restaurants. It is situated in one of the most scenic parts of New Zealand. Queenstown and various popular ski resorts are approx. one and a half hours drive away. From Queenstown International Airport you can fly to the main New Zealand cities and regional centres plus various destinations in Australia. The famous University city of Dunedin (the Edinburgh of the South) is two and a half hours drive away.

Central Otago enjoys four distinct seasons with typical climatic characteristics. It has famous Autumnal colours and stunning spring blossoms. Summers are typically warm with low humidity and daily maximum temperatures can exceed 30C. Winter days can be cloudless and windless with beautiful hoar frosts.
