Bamburgh has been voted Britain's top coastal holiday destination two years running. Magnificent castle and sandy beaches. Great for bird watch and walking. One hour from Newcastle International Airport. Trains to Newcastle upon Tyne and London from Alnmouth and Edinburgh from Berwick upon Tweed. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and steeped in history. Bamburgh is a great place to base yourselves for exploring the North or enjoying the peace and quiet.
