Corstorphine, Edinburgh (near the zoo)

Our house is located about 5km outside of the city centre in Corstorphine, Edinburgh near the zoo. It is a modern, detached house with a double driveway and a south facing back garden.

Downstairs there is a home office, large lounge, dining room, conservatory, kitchen diner, utility room and adjoining double garage. We have quite a few bikes for adults and various other sporting and camping equipment in there.

Upstairs, the principle bedroom has a king size bed with an en-suite, there are also 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom. There is a family bathroom with a bath and shower.

Outside the back garden has a patio, lawn, borders and an outside dining table (picnic style) for 6. The back garden is enclosed. We are well served by public transport into the city center.

About the location

Our house is located in Corstorphine - a well known suburb of west Edinburgh. It is residential in nature with a large Tesco extra, a High Street with local shops and an out of town shopping centre at the Gyle - all within walking distance.

It is well served by regular public transport, by buses, trams and trains from South Gyle/Gateway.
In Corstorphine, there are quite a few local restaurants, fast food outlets, pubs and parks but our street is quiet and residential. It is a cul de sac of 100 houses.

Getting into Edinburgh City Centre takes about 20 minutes and we are well placed for the airport and motorways to Glasgow and the rest of Scotland.
