Designer Devonport villa - 5 month London swap

We are on transfer to London for 5 months between 1 September 2023 and late January 2024 and are seeking a home swap for a property in London which sleeps up to 6 adults.

Set 500m walk from Devonport's main street, and a 15 minute walk (or five minute drive) from local beaches, our lovely villa was recently named New Zealand Home of the Year in its renovation category (https://houseoftheyear.co.nz/houses/2019/ak-46455-2-2/?rid=67032).

With a large open-plan living area that opens to a large back garden and deck, our home is lovely and open in the summer months. The outdoor living area is equipped with a gas bbq, pizza oven, large outdoor dining table, outdoor fireplace and day bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with double refrigerator, dishwasher, butlers pantry, expresso machine and is connected to a separate laundry. The open plan living area features a home theatre system and feature gas fire.

There are three double bedrooms all with queen sized beds. Two large bathrooms each feature baths and separate showers. There is one off street car park, and plenty of space for on street parking. Our car is available if required as part of the swap, and we have kayaks, bikes and stand up paddle boards for use.

If required, a local cleaner can be arranged. A local lawn mowing company and gardening company will maintain the property during your stay.

About the location

Devonport is a peninsula town in Auckland, and is accessible by ferry and car. There is a fabulous local cafe culture, lots of local walks and outdoor activities in the area, and you're 15 minutes to downtown Auckland by ferry. Auckland will be bustles over the summer months and January sees buskers festivals and many music festivals around the city.
