Our home is a 2 storey modern home walking distance from great coffee spots and the region's most well regarded swimming and surf beach. Set in a large garden with outbuildings that accommodate more people it is the ideal beach get away in a village with supermarkets, bottle shop, post office and cafes. Although temperate, we have a slow combustion wood heater which is beautiful in Winter. Only two hours drive from the capital Canberra, and 4 hours from Sydney we are superbly located on a quiet street. Bedrooms are generous and windows invite a breeze after a warm day. There is a bath and shower room, table tennis and a good coffee machine.

About the location

Mossy Point is 17km from the farming town of Moruya, but only 7km from Moruya Airport which connects you to Sydney daily. Our two local beaches, North and South Broulee offer great activities for families (with a creek for smaller children and South Broulee patrolled by surf lifesavers). We are surrounded by nature - being situated near Banksia forests, Bangalay Sand forests and most of us are surrounded by Spotted Gums. Moruya has an award winning weekly farmers market and a 'hatted' restaurant "The River" as well as other good food businesses. Known for years as a getaway for people from Canberra our reputation has grown and many Sydney-siders now have holidays in the region.
