2 bedroom 1 bathroom. Charming 1930s style semi in highly sought after residential area of Oxford City.tyle apartment in gated community within the city ringroad in ha prestigious and highly sought after location.
Recently refurbished to a high standard this house offers a stylish and comfortable home-from-home. In a quiet location yet conveniently located close to bus stops, shops, cafes and restaurants. Also driveway parking , a real bonus in Oxford City. Although the house only has 1 bathroom, it is generous with both a bath and a shower. There is also a downstairs loo.
The kitchen and dining area open onto the back garden which is prettily laid out with patio, garden furniture, awning and sitting areas for both sunshine and shade. Although you won`t want to spend much time there as, if you want walking in green spaces, the house is close to Bury Knowle Park and Shotover Nature reserve , both areas of great historical as well as scenic interest. For example, C.S. Lewis lived in the area and is buried in the nearby Trinity Church.
But this is Oxford, blue plaques abound here and a lifetime could be spent exploring both the grand colleges and world famous buildings (Christchurch, Bodleian Library, Ashmolean museum etc. etc.
Within the house itself there is a well equipped kitchen diner, leading onto the garden a lounge with 20th century style bay window , now double glazed of course, ( and 21st century fast broadband wifi TV and Alexa!) upstairs two double bedrooms , the third a smaller room will e closed to guests as it is my study.
