Vancouver, Mount Pleasant

Our home is over 100 years old but recently renovated centrally located in the old Mount Pleasant neighbourhood of Vancouver. Three bedroom, two full bathrooms (one with a walk-in shower the other with a claw foot tub), the main floor is bright, open concept with coffered ceilings and access off the kitchen to a large deck with views of the mountains. The kitchen is spacious and open to both the family room and living and dining room. There is a sofa bed in the family room that can sleep two. Lovely places to sit both in the front and back yards, vegetable and flower gardens, chickens and honey bees! We have a shy indoor cat that will require care (easy).

There are several good restaurants and coffee shops a short five minute walk away, and Main St, one of the most interesting shopping/eating streets in Vancouver, is less than a 15 minute walk. Downtown Vancouver is a 10 minute drive, or easily accessible by buses a few minutes walk away.

About the location

We are on a quiet street in Mount Pleasant in Vancouver, between Main street and Commercial drive, the two most interesting shopping/eating streets (imo!) in Vancouver. Both are walkable (15-20 mins) and both offer numerous restaurants, shops and great ambience. Transit is easily available to all points of interest in Vancouver; travel to the city centre is ten minutes by car. Beaches, mountains, and forest walks are all within easy reach. Whistler is 90 minutes away.
