About the location
When I say I live in St Albans to colleagues etc everyone replies "Oh St Albans is lovely"...and it is! It is an old Roman town with an olde world market town high street with modern shops, restaurants, bars and pubs. There is the Abbey which has the longest knave in the UK and Verulamium park with the lovely lake. There are quaint surrounding villages and if you want to explore London it is only 21 minutes away on the train from the station.
