Bright, sunny, cosy home

We live in a lovely, bright and spacious three-bedroom house in a quiet corner of Feldafing. The house has four floors (basement, ground floor, upstairs, and attic). Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds. There is also a bathroom with a shower. On the ground floor there is a large open plan kitchen and our living room which is connected to a tea room / winter garden. There is also a study with a sofa bed which sleeps 2. In the basement there is another double bedroom and a further bathroom with bath/shower facilities. The attic has a sofa and a bean bag and is currently used as a reading room / snug room.

Outside there is a sunny, south-facing garden with a pond, a wooden garden cabin with table and seats which is a great place to eat or enjoy a drink in the summer. There is also a large garage where our bikes and barbecue are stored.

Next to the house there is a small, self-contained bungalow which we rent out to holidaymakers who have their own corner of the garden.

About the location

Feldafing is located in the heart of the Starnberg Five-lake Region. It is ideally located between the mountains offering skiing and hiking and central Munich. Our house is just 1.5 km from Lake Starnberg with a Strandbad for swimming, a tennis club with restaurant, golf club and boat rental in Feldafing itself. Great routes for biking and walking with lots of nature on the doorstep.

Feldafing has a large supermarket, bakery, post office, library, pharmacy, a number of restaurants, 2 banks, florist, café and a grocer, sports hall, female only gym, doctor and dentist.

Our house is well situated when travelling to Munich. Feldafing train station is only a 10-minute walk away and trains to Munich leave every 20 minutes (travelling time 40 minutes to the city centre).
