Bathroom with wc and walk in shower. Separate Garden Room building with an additional toilet and washing/drying facilities and steam shower cubicle. There is an additional double sofa bed available in the Garden Room with picture window with views to the garden. Private enclosed gardens with decking area to the rear of the cottage. Mature peaceful garden with small ponds with a further patio area for outside relaxation. Mature gardens to the front. Private , off road parking for 3-4 cars. There is a garage , now used as a games room with football table and darts board.

About the location

Sedbergh is a quiet working town set in the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and bordering the Lake District, ideal as a centre for exploring the beautiful North of England. Kendal is 30 minutes away and the cottage is a short 10 minutes drive from the M6 motorway and only 1 & 1/2 hours from Manchester. Sedbergh is nestled at the foot of the Howgills and three rivers ; the Clough, Rawthey and Dee, with beautiful walks in both Dales and Valleys from our doorstep. Sedbergh has several restaurants and inns within walking distance and has a pretty centre with local shops. The town dates back to 16th century and is home to the famous Sedbergh school. The Local Tennis club is but a serve away from our cottage and allows visitors. Heading west , the South Lakes and Windermere is a 30 minute drive whilst to the North, Ullswater and Derwent Water and the Lakeland town of Keswick are only 45 minutes away. Heading East are the Yorkshire dales and the picturesque towns and villages of Dent ,Hawes , Ravenstonedale to name a few. A must see is the Ingleton waterfall walk only 30 minutes drive away.
