Cosy family home in open countryside

Our light and airy home is situated in quiet and stunning rolling countryside in the west of the Isle of Wight. Simple but well-designed, cosy and functional, this house makes an ideal base for those who like nature, cycling, the sea and walking. There are many walks, long and short starting from the front door!

The house itself is a semi detached property in a small and friendly village which is on a bus route and a cycle route, about three miles from the ancient port of Yarmouth. It`s a quiet and cosy home; warm in the winter and very bright in the summer. Our home is simple but well-designed. There are plenty of books to help while away lazy afternoons and for music lovers, a piano.

It is also surrounded by a large and attractive garden with nooks and crannies to sit in and enjoy the sun. There is an artist`s studio set within the garden which you may use.

We are next to a farm so please bear in mind that at harvest time in August there is a lot of activity (happy to talk you through it)!

About the location

The West Wight has some of the most spectacular scenery in Southern England. Our home is in the middle of open fields but also near enough to towns and beaches to provide a convenient place to be based in exploring the lovely Island. Just south of us is the most stunning coast, which provides all kinds of walking and wild swimming. We are between two ferry ports with access to Lymington and The New Forest and the Cowes route to the city of Southampton.
