Modern detached bungalow, by the sea - with a beach hut

The modern bungalow is small and modern, but in a great location a mere one minute walk to the beach.

In addition, in the summer months - generally from early April until mid October, there is the use of the beach hut, which is on the promenade and provides a lovely way to sit and enjoy the sea views. There is seating for 6 there, a gas hob and plenty of crockery/cutlery. An ideal place to enjoy fish and chips overlooking the sea, or just while away the hours.

In the bungalow there is a well equipped, kitchen - induction hob/microwave etc.
One bedroom has a double bed while the other has two single beds.

The sitting room has two large, very comfortable sofas, a smart TV (Netflix/Amazon Prime) and many books. Fast fibre broadband.

The conservatory leads off the sitting room and is a lovely bright room to relax in. A two seater sofa and two armchairs are there with a dining table and four chairs.

There is a courtyard garden with a table, chairs and parasol.

Parking for two cars on the drive.

This is a second home so non-simultaneous swaps are available.

About the location

Seaton is on the coast between Lyme Regis and Beer. While other places locally can get very busy, Seaton has such a long, pebbly beach, approximately a mile long, so there is always plenty of space.

It is well known for the tramway which runs from Seaton to Colyton, with the tram terminus just 3 minutes walk away.

Seaton has a range of shops from a large Tesco supermarket and Aldi to plenty of independent shops such as a butcher, coastal craft shop etc.

There are plenty of places to eat both in Seaton and nearby, with fish, especially crab, obviously being the highlight.

Activities - There are plenty of beautiful walks, water sports such as paddle boarding and kayaking and the local golf course is a 2 minute walk away. Seaton Wetlands provides plenty of birdwatching options.

National Trust properties such as A la Ronde and Killerton are easy to visit. Bicton Botanical Gardens is also well worth a visit. The Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth. There is plenty to see and do in the area.

There are maps, guide books and leaflets about local attractions in the bungalow - as well as our personal recommendations as to where to visit.
