Golf Apartment near the Beach

Our apartment is modern, bright and comfortable and was built in 2009 situated in a small community with a communal pool and well kept gardens.

We are on the ground floor and there is a lift available from underground store rooms and plenty of parking outside.

We have a small well equipped kitchen and two bedrooms one with en-suite and both bathrooms have over-bath showers. The lounge and main bedroom have doors onto the southwest facing terrace where we have table and chairs and sun loungers. The second bedroom is an office with a sofa bed.

We have 5G Wi-fi and a smart TV, however we only receive local channels.

We have some plants on the terrace which also need regular watering and an older cat who mainly sleeps and does need caring for.

About the location

Situated on Casares Golf course so quite rural with some great views. From our terace the view is across the golf course and the vineyards and we have views of lovely sun sets.

The beach is only 1km away and a nice walk and there are plenty of coastal walks nearby.

Malaga airport is about 70km away and Gibraltar airport is about 15km.

There are two pretty marinas 15 minutes drive away, Duquesa and Estepona, and both have lots of independent shops and restaurants to visit. 20 minutes drive away is Sotogrande with its lovely marina.

What we love is that you can watch the sun rise over the Med sea in the morning and then head over to Tarifa (45 mins drive) in the evening and watch the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean - all in the same day.

Within a couple of hours drive of us are the historic cities of Jerez, famous for it`s sherry and Seville, famous for its oranges used to make marmalade. A little further away is Grenada with its amazing Alhambra Palace built by the Moors.

If you are feeling a little more adventurous you can take the ferry across to Africa (30 minutes) and explore an entirely different culture for a day.

In the winter we can drive 3.5 hours inland to Sierra Nevada and ski.
