About the location
The apartment is located on the doorstep of Bruntsfield links pitch and putt course and the Meadows, in the Bruntsfield and Tollcross area. We have a fantastic French bakery and a Japanese bistro at the corner, the Drinkmongers that offers a huge selection of worldwide wine, whisky, beer and any alcohol you can possibly think of, COOP supermarket and a variety of shops and restaurants. This is a very vibrant area with Kings Theatre and Cameo Cinema at the doorstep and it`s only 15 minutes walking distance from Edinburgh castle, Royal Mile, National Museum of Scotland (which is free of charge and a fantastic space to explore with or without kids), Princess street and Haymarket station. While all this is on your doorstep, the street is an oasis of quiet, as it`s a cul-de-sac.
The Edinburgh Lothian buses` stop is just around the corner or another one is just two minutes walk (infront of Cameo Cinema)- you can take bus 23 and 27 (direction city centre) to National Museum of Scotland, High street (Royal Mile), Princess street and Botanical gardens. Bus no. 10, 11 and 16 would again take you to Princess street and continues towards Leith (East -North Edinburgh). The buses are very regular (every 5-10 minutes), cost £1.60 per adult (one way), but there are options to purchase day tickets and family tickets.
