About us

We are a family of 5 and have a respectful 18 year old daughter and two considerate 15 year old boy/girl twins. Phil and I are a teacher and nurse and are excited to embark on this new adventure into home exchange 😊. Our home is a 3 minute walk from Llandudno beach, promenade, paddling pool and lifeboat station. We have 2 double bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms one of which has a cot in.

Llandudno is a fantastic holiday location within easy reach of numerous sandy beaches, the scenic Great Orme with its fabulous coastal walks, tramway, outdoor ski slope, toboggan and cable car. Seals and dolphins can often be seen from the Great Orme and of course the famous Welsh Mountain Goats who have wandered further afield into our gardens during lockdown! Llandudno town centre bars, restaurants and shops are also a 30 minute walk away or 5 minute drive. In summer the open top bus tour around Llandudno and Conwy can be a great way to get your bearings and see the sights.

The North Wales adventure sports circuit comprising of Surf Snowdonia, Bounce Below and Zip World etc are also easily accessible by car and are a great choice for thrill seeking teenagers and adults alike. Snowdonia national park is close by with amazing walks, mountain biking trails and lakes for wild swimming: Llyn Padarn and Llyn Geiryonedd. There is a great 20 mile coastal cycle path route from Llandudno to Rhyl, which is mostly off road for family cycling. The Welsh Mountain zoo in Colwyn Bay and visiting nearby Conwy Castle or walking the castle walls are other day trip ideas. If you are National Trust members Bodnant gardens are 20 mins away, Penrhyn Castle and Plas Newydd on Anglesey are 50 minutes away - all worthy of full days out. We look forward to meeting prospective home swap families and would like to go to an interesting location in the British Isles that will keep our children entertained.

We have a good natured tabby cat who we would like home swap members to feed during their stay please.
