Within walking distance of the town centre and lakeshore, our home is a recently renovated semi detached house in a very quiet and green area of Keswick.

The front of the house looks out onto a quiet green and beyond to the surrounding hills, while the back opens onto a decent sized garden with two patio areas and mountain views.

We have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and plenty of parking. Downstairs the kitchen is a large open plan family kitchen/diner with patio doors that open onto the back garden. There is a separate living room, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and downstairs toilet. Upstairs we have a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a family bathroom, another double bedroom, and 2 single bedrooms. We also have an attic with TV and games , plus a double sofa bed. We also have a garage for those who want to bring bikes, paddleboards or other outdoor toys!

The town centre is about a 10 minute walk, with the lakeshore not much further and endless walks are available from the doorstep.

About the location

Keswick sits at the heart of the Lake District and is a great base for exploring the area. The town itself has great pubs and restaurants, shops, a cinema, a theatre, museums and attractions. It sits on the shores of Derwentwater where you can hire boats, take a cruise, swim or just sit and take in the stunning views.

There are many walks to do from the doorstep whether you are looking to get up high onto the mountain tops or would prefer a gentle stroll around the lake shore. There are many other outdoor activities near by including mountain biking trails, paddle boarding, canoeing, high ropes courses, rock climbing and a via ferrata.

Within an hours drive or a bus ride, other places of interest you can get to include Grasmere, Ambleside, Ullswater, Windermere or the Western Lakes. We are also close to Scotland, an hour to Dumfries and Galloway and only 3 hours drive to Edinburgh.
