Our house has 3 bedrooms (for 6 people), office (with internet and a single bed), toilets, showeroom (large shower), separate kitchen, living-room (green leather sofa bed and especially old wooden furniture), garden with lawn and trees.
Full basement with garage, gas stove, sink, washing machine, freezer.
Driveway and off-road parking.
Friendly neighbors who will help you if needed and welcome you to taste their own "pineau" (local aperitive, mixture of cognac and grappes juice).

About the location

LINARS is a rural/suburban village in Charente (supermaket and bakery 400m). Only 10 minutes from Angouleme (bus stop 100m) and surrounded by quiet countryside : vineyards 200 m. river Charente 1 Km with a « guinguette » to eat and canoes to rent.

ANGOULEME, french capital for comics (museum), and its roman cathedral, painted walls and old streets is worth a visit as La Rochefoucauld’s castle (25 Km).

We have a little lake with sandy supervised beach in summer and playgrounds for children (5 Km).
Numerous activities very close: fishing (carp, pikes and roach), water sports, walking trails, vineyards, Charente valley, tree climbing and crazy (golf 10 Km), distileries (Jarnac 25 Km, Cognac 40 Km).
Numerous marked out footpaths from the house, many cycle circuits.

Easy day trips : (about an hour`s drive) to Perigord, Limoges, Poitiers, Bordeaux (world best wines), La Rochelle, Royan (famous beaches and La Palmyre’s zoo). Marennes (oysters),
