Dronfield, Peak District , England

Looking for a long term swap to London.
Room for one adult required for the exchange of my 3 bedroom house.

Happy to have swaps for holidays or long weekend elsewhere before long term swap found.

The Peak District is 10 minutes away. Our 3 bedroom house is placed in a quiet dead end, so no passing traffic. In the lovely town of Dronfield.

Easy parking for 2 cars on the front drive. The garden round the back is south facing with large decking area plus grassed lawn. Big, light living room / dining room with huge sofa. Large smart TV with Netflix and chrome cast included and fast WIFI throughout. Large enough kitchen, with breakfast bar & everything you would expect in a family home, washing machine, dryer, microwave, waffle maker.

Downstairs has an extra 2nd toilet at the end of the hallway.

Upstairs has a bathroom with shower and toilet. Three bedrooms. One with King-size bed with very comfy memory foam mattress, one has a double bed and one has a single bed.
Dronfield is a lovely town. It has 2 supermarkets, Sainsbury`s and Aldi, plenty of other shops and lots of nice pubs and restaurants, some of which you can easily walk to. It also has a very small but useful train station.

Dronfield leisure center has 2 pools and gym. Plus we have a golf course, and 2 lovely parks, One includes tennis courts.

We also recommend Hathersage and its outdoor pool. Water 28c and once a month they do a night swim to live music. Need to book though.

There are also lots of churches here and a friendly community. Had several very successful swaps. Happy to house sit.

About the location

Dronfield is ideally located if you wish to explore everything the Peak District has to offer but is also very close the the wonderful city of Sheffield too.

You definitely have the best of both world and that is what we love about living here.
10 minutes by car and you are in the Peaks. All the amazing things that the peak district has to offer are on your doorstep. Plenty to keep you busy.

Very popular with climbers and walkers.

Places to visit include Padley Gorge, Chatsworth House and it`s amazing gardens, Bakewell, Castleton, The Monsal Trail, Eyam, Ladybower reservoir amongst many many more. Guide books on the Peak District left in the house. We would also recommend Yorkshire Sculpture Park ( 35 mins away).

You also have city life with Sheffield nearby. If you don`t fancy driving there, Dronfield to Sheffield by train is just 11 minutes. The same train runs between Nottingham and Leeds. Sheffield is a very green city. It also has the largest number of theatres outside of London, including the famous Crucible.

East Midlands Airport is the closest, about 45 mins by car.
