The apartment is on the first floor and is located in the Lakka area of Panagia within 80 meters from an almost private seafront and between two beautiful sandy beaches, and very close to fantastic Aegean beaches. It has front and rear balconies as well as a fully equipped roof terrace with 360 degree view of sea and surrounding hills.

About the location

Almyropotamos is located on a rocky slope in front of the valley flowing through the Dipotamos torrent, and is the northernmost village  of the Municipality of Karystos.  Almyropotamos owns the coastal settlement of Panagia as well as the islet of Kavaliani, which many identify with ancient Glafkissos, in whose soil the Olympic athlete Glafkos, son of Dimilos, was buried by the Karystians.

Almyropotamos owes its name to the small curious river in the northeast of the homonymous bay. It`s water gushes near the sea from a source below sea level.  At this point of the island, the waters of the Aegean communicate with the waters of the Euboean through underground galleries and the seawater from the Aegean in its course mixes with fresh water before coming to the surface.  The beach along the settlement is organized with umbrellas, cabins and showers, is sandy with quiet clear water, shallow on the north side and deep in the south.

Almonds and eucalyptus along the beach generously give their rich shade to the bathers. There are several catering and leisure companies by the sea, catering to the nutritional and recreational needs of holidaymakers. 

Fishing enthusiasts, whether by boat or by the beach with rods and lines, will be pleased with the result after finding a significant number of fish and shellfish due to the clear waters of the area.
