Beautiful tenement flat - heart of Glasgow’s West End

We live in a spacious and light flat in Glasgow’s lovely and leafy West End. There are 3 bedrooms (1 super king, 1 double and 1 bunkbeds plus sofa bed which can sleep 1 adult or 2 children).

The large kitchen has an oven, hob, and microwave and the bathroom has a shower over a bath. There is a large lounge with open fire, TV - Netflix and DVD player etc, plus a large sofa. There is also a washing machine and ‘iron maiden’ for drying clothes. The shared garden has a trampoline.

The flat is on the 3rd floor and is light and airy. We are situated close to some of the best shops, pubs, bakeries and pizzerias in Glasgow.

We have 2 children (born 2017 and 2019). The bedroom which they share has bunk beds (standard single mattress size) and a sofa-bed. I have yet to update the photos since the arrival of our second child but I will do so soon!

We’re experience swappers, having exchanged with couples and families in Spain, London, Iceland and Paris. We would love to find a family who are interested in exchanging during the Glasgow UCI Cycling World Championships. Ideally we would love to go to France or Mallorca.

About the location

The West End of Glasgow has parks, shops, Kelvingrove Museum, the Hunterian Museum and is a great place from which to explore Glasgow and the surrounding area. Glasgow has a thriving music scene, great theatres, several cinemas and a wealth of amazing places to eat and drink. We have created a ‘house swap doc’ which details all the best Glasgow has to offer, which we email ahead of any exchanges.

Edinburgh is an hour away on public transport, and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs can be reached by car within 35 minutes. We are open to lending our car as part of any exchanges.
