Recently restored and renovated to a high standard, the apartment is situated on the first floor of this early 17th century town house.The rooms are light, spacious and airy with large windows looking onto the ramparts of the Château Royal of Amboise. Ideally situated in the picturesque heart of the old town, it is just a few moments stroll to excellent restaurants, cafés, shops and market.

Totally self-contained and independent, the apartment has a large living/dining room with high ceilings, fully equipped modern kitchen and 2 bedrooms, one with kingsize bed and the other with twin beds, each with their own en-suite shower room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. We have tried to combine modern fittings with the old existing features to provide a striking yet homely feel! There is free wi-fi throughout the property, along with television & DVD player.

About the location

Amboise is perfectly situated in the heart of the Loire Valley with all the main Châteaux of the Loire within easy striking distance. The town is small and picturesque but very lively. Pretty much everything is within strolling distance, including the towns 3 châteaux - the Royal Castle, Le Clos Lucé (Leonardo da Vinci`s last home) and le Château Gaillard. Chateaux de Chambord, Chenonceau, Chaumont & Villandry are all closeby.
Set on the River Loire, Amboise also presents great opportunities for walking, cycling and canoeing and is also an excellent destination for wine lovers with many renowned vineyards nearby.
