Modern Light Filled home in Historic Village - Balrothery

Our 2 bedroom dormer bungalow home is situated in the historic village of Balrothery. The village dates back to 1600 when it was a main route for the knights travelling to Dublin. We are in a small cul de sac of houses within walking distance to the village and of course the village pub! We have 3 bedrooms however we use the 3rd bedroom as an office . We have a large light filled south facing kitchen come dining room which opens out to the enclosed garden. Upstairs we have a main bathroom and two large double bedrooms. Quality linens and towels are provided. Wireless internet is available in the house. Parking for 2 cars. Dublin airport is approximately 18 mins by car. In the village we have bus links to the city centre of Dublin and also a train station 3 miles from the house.

About the location

We are located in the historic village of Balrothery. We are just a 10 minute drive to some lovely beaches. The village itself has a pub with great food dating back to 1600. The Heritage centre hosts lots of activities as well as music nights over the summer. We are near to Ardgillan Castle and its magnificent grounds and rose garden. We have several great golf courses nearby, 2 tennis courts just down the hill and a childrens playground within 5 mins walk. We are located just 18 mins from Dublin airport with great links by bus and train into the city. Approx 40 mins by bus/train.
