Small, cosy, lovely and quiet house with a big garden - Grenada
Our house consists of a little downstairs apartment with a bedroom, shower, seperate toilet, kitchenette and private porch. Upstairs has two rooms, both provided with queen size beds, kitchen, bathroom and verandah. Situated in Harvey Vale, overlooking the harbour, ten walking minutes to beach, restaurants and supermarkets. Our favorite beach is Paradise beach, two minutes by bus, twenty-five minutes walk. Bus-stop is about a five-to-ten minutes to walk. Being very close to all "attractions", we live in a peaceful, quiet surrounding with goats and cattle and a few neighbours.
About the location
Carriacou is a small island with still few tourists, so sometimes you might have to entertain yourselves. But Harvey Vale provides a beautiful harbour, some restaurants and alot of "rum shops", some supermarkets and local fruit stands. The island is small, and you can get everywhere with the busses. Our "capitol" is Hillsborough, just a fifteen-minutes-drive, with probably 700 inhabitants. We have great beaches, and great secluded islands surrounding us.
