You can follow the river in the opposite direction and enjoy the 50 mile long River path that takes you into the Lea Valley. Within a 10 minute walk you are at Clapton station with direct trains to Liverpool Street. Stoke Newington, with its markets, flea markets and trendy shopping streets, and Hackney Central are also less than 20 minutes walk away. This area is absolutely perfect for summer with the expansive marshes and Springfield park just around the corner.
