Old farmhouse - Rockneby
Our home is a farmhouse from the 1820s, located on the countryside in southeastern Sweden. We have been renovating it to include all modern facilities, while keeping the original style, such as the large fireplace. It has four bedrooms, housing 6-7 people, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and WiFi. The house has eco-friendly heating and water systems. We also have have a big garden and cats and hens.
There is also an extra room in another house, two beds that we use during Summer. Photos to come! That means there are 9 beds all together.
About the location
The house is situated in the area of Småland, the typical Swedish countryside, with farms and forest in the surroundings. Bus-stop nearby, 1 km. The Baltic Sea is five kilometer away, the city of Kalmar is 30 km from the house, and the island of Öland next. Kalmar is connected with train to Copenhagen and Stockholm, and has an airport. From Kalmar there`s a 6 km long bridge to the popular island of Öland .
