We have now arranged swaps for 2024 but always interested in being organised and booking in swaps next year.

We are ideally located on the edge of the Peak District with a garden backing onto woodlands.

Recently renovated, it has 3 bedrooms comprising:
1. King bed with en-suite ( on the ground floor)
2. King bed (plus single if needed)
3. Small double


There is also a bathroom on the ground floor.

We have a great open social space with open-plan kitchen, dining, sitting room. There is also a further TV room with very comfy sofas.

We have a large summer house with gym equipment, table football, darts and a chill out space.

Outside to the front there is off road parking, and to the rear, there is a good sized private garden with direct access to the woodland beyond. Our house is great for bird watching.

Our house would be suitable for families, couples or individuals who want to explore the Peak District, all of the photos I have attached are within a 20 minute drive. Well behaved pets are very welcome.

About the location

Our house is situated on the edge of The Peak District and we can walk directly from our back garden through woodland into the peak district. We are also only 20 minutes drive into Sheffield centre.

Local outdoor activities
Hiking galore, rock climbing, abseiling, wild swimming, mountain biking, Caving and really great pubs.

City interest
Live music, Theatres, Museums, restaurants bars and shopping

Our National Park offers breath-taking views and fantastic opportunities for pastimes such as cycling, walking, rock climbing, fell running and wildlife watching.

Must-sees are Chatsworth Estate, Castleton, Longshaw estate, Bakewell and Dovedale (to name but a few). But every turn in the peaks is spectacular, especially if you like to hike.

Local to the house within a mile radius, are several Gastro pubs, traditional pubs, restaurants, cafes and local convenience shops.

Sheffield offers all the typical city activities one may require as well as boasting some fantastic parks and gardens.

Good transport links (buses & trains)for accessing The Peak District, Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds, York etc.

Closest Cities:
Sheffield is 20 minutes by bus. Same to drive.
Manchester is 45 minutes by train (the local train station) or 1hr 20 drive.
Leeds - 1 hour from local train station or 1 hour Drive
York - 1hr 30 From local train station or same to drive.
Birmingham - 1h 40m or same to drive
