About the location
The Val d`Anniviers in which St Luc is located is a French-speaking commune close to Sierre. There is good family skiing in winter and wonderful extensive walks in summer.
St Luc is accessible direct from Geneva (or Zurich) airport by train to Sierre, then postbus. The village has a small supermarket, two sports shops, a newspaper/souvenir shop and several restaurants and hotels. It is relatively unspoilt (in comparison with the mountain "towns" such as Crans Montana or Verbier) . The tourist office offers a good programme of activities.
