Beautiful terraced Georgian home in London - Brixton

Our three/four bedroom family home will be available from January 2018 whilst we move to San Francisco on an academic exchange programme. It is a fantastic home over four floors (1630sqft) with original features and a lovely 94foot garden. Currently set up as three bedrooms with a large living room and study on the first floor, there is the potential to change the study to a bedroom if a fourth bedroom is required.

We currently do not have a car, but there is potentially gated off-street parking at the bottom of the garden.

About the location

The home is in a prime residential area near Brixton and Oval (Zone 2). It is a 20min bus ride or 15min cycle to the Houses of Parliament and has great transport links to all the major central London university sites. Buses leave almost every minute from virtually outside the door, or it is a ten minute walk to Stockwell underground station for the Victoria and Northern lines.

We love the vibrant and multicultural area: there are always lots of events and activities. There is a good park one minute walk away, and a great one five minutes walk away (Myatt's Fields) with regular music and festivals. Brixton Village is a ten minute walk with an amazing range of world food stalls and small independent restaurants. Alternatively South Bank, Covent Garden, Oxford Street etc are only a short journey, but we find it hard to tear ourselves away from Brixton for a fun and good value evening!
