Zlatoust hideaway

One bedroom compact apartment with a kitchen on the fifth floor of a Soviet-style apartment block at the top of the hill location of this small mountain town. There is a living room with a small veranda balcony. The bathroom and the toilet are separate. The kitchen has a gas stove, a fridge and a compact cooking and eating area just enough for 2 people.

The furniture is the old-fashioned Soviet-style. The balcony has a picturesque view of the central pond with mountains behind it.

About the location

7 minutes walk down the hill to the local downtown area with shops, tram and bus stops. There is a beautiful Orthodox cathedral in the downtown area, as well as a small park with the monument of Eternal Fire commemorating those who lost their lives in the WWII.

Up the hill you can find a forest with many trails for hiking. Zlatoust natural history museum and the central railway station are 10-15 minutes away if you take the tram or bus. The main attraction of Zlatoust is the Taganai nature reserve which is within 10 minutes by taxi. It's a huge national wildlife park where you can do hiking with a guide, camping and mountain climbing or have a picnic in picnic areas. From November/December until the start of April you can go skiing in the ski resort "Kanatka" which is just a stone's throw away.
